Kevin Davies headed in from a corner in the 15th minute to put Bolton in front against Arsenal. After some sustained pressure from the Gunners, Emmanuel Eboue equalised after Bendtner played him in and seconds later Arsenal took the lead when Nicklas Bendtner finished off a brilliant Arsenal move. Injury-time of the first-half saw Kevin Davies foul Gael Clichy with a shocking tackle, the French full-back went to hospital, the Bolton striker received a yellow card. At the start of the second-half, Jaaskelainen saved well from a Song shot. Bolton also threatened early in the second period. Denilson secured the win after good work by Adebayor and Walcott.
